In the app
- Open court:scout and tap the gear.
- Tap Account.
- Tap Delete my account, then Delete, then sign in once more with Google or Apple to confirm it’s you.
Your data is deleted straight away. If you back out at the sign-in, nothing is deleted.
Without the app
Email support@courtscout.uk with the subject “Delete my account”, from the email address you signed in with. If you used Apple’s “Hide My Email”, tell us whether you signed in with Apple or Google and roughly when. We will confirm it is your account, delete it within 30 days, and email you when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your sign-in account (user ID, email, name)
- The venues you follow
- Your saved bookings, with their references and gate PINs
- Your alerts and notification settings
- The push tokens for your phones
- court:scout in your Apple ID, if you signed in with Apple
- On the phone you delete from: the calendar events the app added (past ones too), its reminders, your venue login, the venue booking rules it read, and your basket
On any other phone signed in to the same account, upcoming calendar events and reminders are removed once the app there notices the account is gone, usually within an hour of it next running.
Nothing is kept afterwards. Service logs, which hold no bookings or alerts, expire on their own within 30 days.
What is not deleted
- Bookings you made with venues. They are not cancelled. Cancel them with the venue if you need to.
- Your account with the venue or its booking provider. That is theirs, not ours. Contact them to close it.
- The rest of the app’s data on your other phones, until you uninstall the app there.
If we delete your account for you by email and you signed in with Apple, you can remove court:scout from your Apple ID in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Sign in with Apple.
