Installing it
- Tap Download the app above. Use Chrome, not a link opened inside another app: some in-app browsers save the file wrongly, and Android then refuses to open it.
- Open the downloaded file. Android asks whether to allow installs from Chrome. That permission is for Chrome only, and you can turn it off again afterwards.
- Tap Install. Google Play Protect may say it doesn’t recognise the app, because it isn’t from the Play Store yet. Tap More details, then Install anyway.
Later versions install straight over this one from the same page, and keep you signed in.
If it won’t install
- “App not installed”: a court:scout build from somewhere else is already on the phone, signed differently. Uninstall it first, then install this one.
- “There was a problem parsing the package”: the download was damaged on the way. Delete it, and download it again in Chrome.
